Here are Berlin U2 Jay-Z video, photos, set-list, reviews at the Brandenburg Gate on Nov. 5, 2009 in a performance of Sunday Bloody Sunday with a cover of Bob Marley’s Get Up Stand Up. See also Jay-Z’s performance of Empire State of Mind at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Both the concert and the awards ceremony took place in the German city in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Jay-Z took home an MTV EMA Award for Best Live Act and U2 won the Best Live Act Award. The performance at the gate took place ahead of the EMAs and saw Bono introducing Jay-Z on stage as “The Mayor of New York City.” Full set-list for the concert as follows:

Here are U2 tour dates 2010 in Europe and newly announced North America concert dates of the U2 360 world tour which resumes next summer in support of the legendary Irish rock band’s twelfth studio album, ‘No Line on the Horizon. Itinerary and details along with video below.

The critically acclaimed stadium tour featuring band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. utilizes the innovative 360 degree stage whose centerpiece is “the claw,” a structure rising more than 150 feet, as well as a massive video system. It was designed by the band’s longtime concert director Willie Williams and architect Mark Fisher. Opening acts on the tour include Muse, Black Eyed Peas, Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, and Snow Patrol.

After the landmark U2 Rose Bowl Pasadena concert on Oct. 25, 2009 which was streamed worldwide live on the U2 YouTube channel (and being rebroadcast at scheduled times), Live Nation announced new North American tour dates on Twitter. U.S. and Canadian cities included are: Anaheim, Denver, Oakland, Seattle, Edmonton, East Lansing, Miami, Philadelphia and Montreal, along with return stops in Toronto and Chicago. (Full list below.)

The stadium concert which drew an audience of more than 96,000 is part of the U2 360 world tour in support of the legendary Irish rock band’s twelfth studio album, ‘No Line on the Horizon,’ with Black Eyed Peas as the supporting act.

The concert, brilliantly photographed, lasted for more than two hours, revealing the dramatic 360 degree stage which gives this world tour its name. It was designed by the band’s longtime concert director Willie Williams in collaboration with architect Mark Fisher. In addition to the Black Eyed Peas, the tour has and will include a variety of supporting acts, including Muse, Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, and Snow Patrol. The critically acclaimed U2 360 tour continues through 2010 with band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.

New U2 2010 tour dates for North America have been announced by Live Nation via Twitter.

Here is the U2 Saturday Night Live video from September 26, 2009. The legendary Irish rock band performed on the 35th SNL season premiere which was hosted by Megan Fox. Performances of Moment of Surrender, Breathe, and Ultraviolet (Light My Way) from their most recent album, No Line on the Horizon, and their 1991 album, Achtung Baby, and are below. It marks the band’s first appearance on the program since 2004.

The band is presently on the North American leg of their acclaimed U2 360 tour. The stadium tour is ongoing through the fall of 2010 and has used and yet to use numerous supporting acts during various concert dates, including Muse, Black Eyed Peas, Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, and Snow Patrol.

September 23, 2009 at East Rutherford, New Jersey as part of the North American leg of the U2 360 world tour in support of ‘No Line on the Horizon,’ the legendary Irish rock band’s twelfth studio album, with Muse as the opening act.

As the New Jersey Star-Leger reports, the concert which saw more than 82,000 tickets sold, included two tributes, the first of these to Bruce Springsteen on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The band performed “She’s the One” — with lyrics changed to “he’s the one.” The band also honored Quincy Jones, present at the concert, by singing part of the Michael Jackson signature hit which Jones had produced, “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough.” [Source: U2 larger than life at Giants Stadium]

The U2 360 Tour which is just now reaching the U.S. kicked off in Barcelona Spain on June 30, 2009. The tour will continues through the autumn of 2010. Numerous supporting acts join U2 at varying points. Among them: Snow Patrol, Black Eyed Peas, Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, and Elbow. The pioneering 360 degree stage which gives the tour its name was designed by the band’s longtime show director Willie Williams and architect Mark Fisher who both worked on previous U2 tours; ZooTV, PopMart, Elevation and Vertigo.
