Here is the Alicia Silverstone Oprah video of her Jan. 27, 2010 appearance and interview, discussing ‘The Kind Diet,’ her new book, detailing her transition to a vegan diet and lifestyle. She was featured on an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show devoted to food safety and food processing entitled Food 101, with additional segments featuring the documentary Food, Inc. and best-selling author of ‘Food Rules’, Michael Pollan. The actress rose to fame in the 1990s with her appearance in movie Clueless. As she reveals, she confronted health issues including asthma, acne, insomnia, and constipation. Through changing from a “steak and doughnut diet” to a vegan diet, three years after appearing in the 1995 movie, she reveals she was able to overcome her health issues. She said:

“I used to have all those white marks on my nails and they were very brittle, and now they’re so strong I cannot bend them. My eyes got really white, and I feel like I look less puffy.”

She also discussed her lifelong history as an animal lover and noted that seeing a film on how animals are slaughtered was a turning point:

“I just took a look at my dog and said, ‘If I’m not willing to eat you, how can I continue to eat these other creatures that have the same desire to live, are just as funny, just as cute as my dogs?’”

Here is the Rosie O’Donnell Oprah video from Jan. 25, 2010 of the candid interview on a range of topics including her new relationship and her stint as a co-host on The View in 2007. Her forthcoming documentary HBO special A Family Is A Family Is A Family: A Rosie O’Donnell Celebration, will premiere on the cable channel on Jan. 31. It will focus on nontraditional families.

During the interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show, O’Donnell talked about her own family circumstances; the breakup of her 12-year relationship with Kelli Carpenter and her new relationship with artist Tracy Kachtick-Anders, as well as her co-parenting experience with the four children she had with Carpenter as well as with her new girlfriend who has six children.

She also discussed at length the circumstances that led to her departure from ABC daytime talk show, The View, and conflicts with host Barbara Walters and co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Story continues below.

Here are Lady GaGa Oprah video from Fri. Jan 15, 2010 of her live performance of a medley of her hits including Bad Romance and Speechless on the daytime talk show in support of her newly released album The Fame Monster.

Additionally on her first ever appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show Live Fridays she was interviewed, featured in a video profile as well as in a behind the scenes backstage look at her tour.

During the interview she discussed her costumes and all of the details that go into her live performances, noting that she puts a lot of thought behind all of her performances. She said that her intention was to be provocative for a purpose; to say something that affects people in a positive way. “Be who you are,” she said. “Never give up on your dream.”

She also revealed that she will donate all proceeds from her Jan. 24 concert in New York City to the Haitian earthquake relief efforts.

Oprah Christmas at the White House Video 12-13-09

Here is the Oprah Christmas at the White House video from Dec. 13, 2009 a prime-time special with interviews with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and a behind the scenes look at the longstanding holiday traditions at the White House, past and present. The First Dog, Bo, also made an appearance.

In the interview with Oprah Winfrey, the President discussed his Afghanistan war strategy and said that overall he gives his first year in office a B+ because of work unfinished, notably health care reform as well as the ongoing economic crisis. Regarding losing his temper, he said: “I don’t yell. I speak more clearly and crisply with an edge in my voice.”

In a joint interview, the President and First Lady joked about who gave better gifts. In discussing what Oprah termed an enviable marriage, Michelle Obama said, “I think we have a wonderful marriage. I love my husband. He’s my best friend.” She noted “there are struggles to get here. The message is to walk through the struggles.” The first couple also discussed home and family life, noting that their daughters Sasha and Malia enjoy Camp David and sleepovers with friends.

The President reflected upon his dwindling approval rating noting that it was what he anticipated given the economic crisis and 10 percent unemployment.

In response to Oprah’s question as to what he wishes for the American people this Christmas, Obama said, “I want the American people to feel confident that out future is great. The 21st century will be as much the American century as the 20th century …If we have a seriousness of purpose, nobody can touch us.”

Here are the Oprah Black Eyed Peas flash-mob video and photos, revealing a crowd of some 20,000 participating in a dance to the hip-hop group’s hit single I Gotta Feeling on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, as part of the party kicking off the 24th season of The Oprah Winfrey Show broadcast on September 10, 2009. The song is from the Black Eyed Peas fifth studio album, ‘The E.N.D.’ (The Energy Never Dies),

The event was produced by Michael Gracey, who also produced the T-Mobile flash mob dance at a Liverpool train station. However, this event, with the use of some 800 dancers along with the crowd of 20,000 is reportedly the largest such event to date. Planning of the event involved the use of local casting agencies to find dancers who where then taught the choreography. [Source: Oprah's Flash-Mob Style Dance]

Additionally, the crowd estimated at 20,000 joined in, creating a spectacular site indeed, as the Black Eyed Peas — Will.i.am, Fergie, Apl.de.ap and Taboo — sang altered lyrics of the song, which is presently No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, in celebration of the new season of Oprah’s show.

As the video below reveals, the event was a complete surprise to Oprah watches with amazement. She is heard saying, “That is so cool. That is the coolest thing ever. Chicago, I love you.”

She was interviewed via satellite from her home in Scotland in a three-way interview that included Simon Cowell on a special episode entitled ‘The World’s Got Talent,’ which featured several other noteworthy performers from around the world and the phenomena of talent competitions which are popular in numerous countries in the world.

The Susan Boyle Britain’s Got Talent ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ audition brought the 47-year-old singer from Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland overnight global stardom. The video has already been seen by tens of millions on YouTube, and become one of the most watched viral video in history. Millions have watched her mesmerize the initially cynical and unreceptive audience and judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. In the Susan Boyle Oprah interview, which was subtitled throughout, the singer told the mogul and talk show host that she is ‘loving every minute’ of her instant stardom and adding that ‘It’s like a dream come true.’

When asked if she were still lonely, she told Oprah and viewers, ‘Oh no. I am not lonely. Everyone has been so nice. I’ve got millions of new friends now.’

She addressed the incessant Susan Boyle makeover talk. She said, ‘I said to my best friend, I said ‘How’s about you do my make up’. That’s hardly a makeover,’ and added that restyling her hair, ‘was just to tidy myself up like any other female would have done.’ The new hairstyle and hair color caused a flurry of headlines last month, see: Susan Boyle Gets A New Do

During the introductory segment which featured Susan Boyle giving viewers a tour of her home, she spoke of how important singing has been for her, dating back even to childhood.

‘I was kind of a slow learner at school so getting something like singing was good. I was encouraged to be in the choir. I was able to hide behind that and so boosted my confidence.’

She said she stopped singing when her mother died in 2007 and that one of the reasons she participated in Britain’s Got Talent was ‘to see if I could still sing in front of an audience.’

Simon Cowell, in the three-way interview with Susan Boyle and Oprah Winfrey, reflected upon the now famous BGT audition that launched the singer’s international stardom.

He said, ‘There was something Susan said before she came out on stage, if you watch the whole clip. ‘She says, without any sense of irony, “I’m going to rock this audience. She knew she had something and I think she knew we were going to get that reaction.

‘Just to see that look of satisfaction on her face mid-way through, which is, “I’m winning now.” It was one of my favorite moments.”

With the Susan Boyle appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show suspense builds for the singer’s next appearance on Britain’s Got Talent on the May 23, 2009 semi-finals as well as the much expected future success of the singer, albums, tours and biopic, all of which are widely speculated upon.

Robin Thicke wrote the track, Lost without U which is from his second studio album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke, and it reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, making it his career breakthrough single in 2006.

The 32-year-old Robin Thicke is the son of actor Alan Thicke (Growing Pains) and his first wife, actress and singer, Gloria Loring (Days of Our Lives). He is married to actress Paula Patton, his high school sweetheart. She appeared in the Lost Without You video, as his love interest.

Robin Thicke is presently on a co-headline tour with Oscar and Grammy winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson. He also had a guest appearance as songwriter and backing vocalist on “Giving Myself,” one of the tracks of her Grammy Award winning self-titled debut album. The tour is receiving rave reviews. His third studio album, Something Else, was released in 2008 and is in stores now. A fourth studio album is forthcoming.

So my sound is going to be a lot different than anything I’ve ever done before. The sound I’m getting is brand new for me. It’s great.”
