Here is the Janet Jackson Flash Mob video and photos from Nov. 14, 2009 in Los Angeles, at The Grove, in support of the forthcoming release of her compilation album, Number Ones on Nov. 17, her second greatest hits album. Fans gathered for a tribute and performed several of her signature hits including Rhythm Nation, If, and Miss You Much. The music superstar herself was present, observing from the balcony as seen in the picture above.

Her first greatest hits album ‘Design of a Decade: 1986-1996.’ The forthcoming album consists of 2-CDs with 34 tracks, including Scream, which she recorded with Michael Jackson as well as the new song Make Me, which pays homage to MJ in referencing one of his hit singles, “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.” . Additional guest appearances include Busta Rhymes, Luther Vandross, BBD, Ralph Tresvant, Q-Tip, Nelly, Herb Alpert and Joni Mitchell.

Oprah Black Eyed Peas Flash-Mob Video, Photos

Here are the Oprah Black Eyed Peas flash-mob video and photos, revealing a crowd of some 20,000 participating in a dance to the hip-hop group’s hit single I Gotta Feeling on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, as part of the party kicking off the 24th season of The Oprah Winfrey Show broadcast on September 10, 2009. The song is from the Black Eyed Peas fifth studio album, ‘The E.N.D.’ (The Energy Never Dies),

The event was produced by Michael Gracey, who also produced the T-Mobile flash mob dance at a Liverpool train station. However, this event, with the use of some 800 dancers along with the crowd of 20,000 is reportedly the largest such event to date. Planning of the event involved the use of local casting agencies to find dancers who where then taught the choreography. [Source: Oprah's Flash-Mob Style Dance]

Additionally, the crowd estimated at 20,000 joined in, creating a spectacular site indeed, as the Black Eyed Peas — Will.i.am, Fergie, Apl.de.ap and Taboo — sang altered lyrics of the song, which is presently No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, in celebration of the new season of Oprah’s show.

As the video below reveals, the event was a complete surprise to Oprah watches with amazement. She is heard saying, “That is so cool. That is the coolest thing ever. Chicago, I love you.”

T-Mobile Trafalgar Square Karaoke Flash Mob Video

Here is the new T-Mobile Trafalgar Square Karaoke Flash Mob video. See the video and photos here. The singalong event took place and was filmed April 30, 2009 in London at Trafalgar Square. The new flash mob event following upon the success of the previous T-Mobile Dance which took over Liverpool Station with 350 dancers performing a choreographed routine in the midst of the concourse filled with commuters.

As with the previous flash mob event the T-Mobile Trafalgar Square Karaoke Flash Mob Video is part of T-Mobile’s ‘Life’s for Sharing’ campaign. The previous video had its premiere on January 16, 2009 during ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Channel 4 in the UK.

This time the flash mob event turned Trafalgar Square into a karaoke party with tens of thousands of people at the T-Mobile flash mob event which presided over by presenter Vernon Kay. Participants were given microphones as 22 cameras filmed the singalong with participants singing numerous hits which include The Beatles’ Hey Jude, Britney Spears’ Hit Me Baby One More Time, ‘Summer Nights’ from Grease, Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’ among others.

Pop star Pink made a surprise appearance, joining the karaoke crowd singing rendition of Erma Franklin’s Piece Of My Heart. She later sang her hit single, ‘So What’ as she stood amidst the crowd. Here is a brief YouTube video of her appearance.

She said: “What a fantastic experience. Everyone singing along together in the middle of London – it was incredible. I was thrilled to be a part of such an amazing event and to share it with so many people.”

T-Mobile ‘Dance’ Ad Liverpool Street Station Video

Here is an amazing new T-mobile TV commercial, ‘Dance’ which was filmed at 11am on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Liverpool Street station in London; 350 dancers, interspersed throughout the crowd of commuters passing through the concourse, performed a choreographed routine, creating a flash mob event. The ad is part of T-Mobile’s ‘Life’s for Sharing’ campaign and premiered on January 16, 2009 during ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Channel 4 in the UK.

‘Dance’, created by Saatchi & Saatchi London, was produced using hidden TV cameras within the station, which captured the spontaneous reactions of commuters as they watched the dance troupe perform. [...]
