Here is the official Backstreet Boys Bigger video and lyrics; it is the second official single from their seventh studio album, This Is Us.

The music video was shot on location in Tokyo and around Japan and features all of the present BSB band members Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and A. J. McLean. (Kevin Richardson left the group in 2006.)

The highly anticipated album This Is Us features songwriting and production from celebrated hitmaker, Max Martin, who was responsible for one of the band’s biggest hits, ‘I Want it That Way.’ ‘Bigger’ was among the songs he wrote and produced for the new album which features songwriting and production contributions from Ryan Tedder, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Pitbull, and Jim Johnson. Brian Littrell discussed the new album with MTV News, noting how each contributor has shaped the sound of the album’s tracks.

“When we do a record like This Is Us and it turned heads a little bit, like, ‘Wow, it’s edgier. It’s different,’ ” Littrell said. “My thing is, back up 15 years ago, ’cause it sounds like what we were doing 15 years ago. It has a little more urban feel to it. Then again, we have to go back to our roots. We were all a bunch of Justin Timberlakes listening to R&B music before there was Justin Timberlake.”

“Everybody has us trapped in a box,” he said. “Working with a guy like T-Pain, you have no choice but to get an R&B, hip-hop vibe, which is what we wanted to do. It’s not just because T-Pain is T-Pain. We’re fans as well, even though we’re entertainers. We pulled in the Jim Johnsons, who did T.I.’s ‘Whatever You Like’ and Soulja Boy, what we call that dirty South sound.”

Here is the Jimmy Kimmel Live video of the Oct. 9, 2009 boy band’s performance of Straight Through My Heart and Bigger in support of their newly released seventh studio album, This Is Us.

Also known as BSB, the band which has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, is comprised of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and A. J. McLean, which is the original lineup minus Kevin Richardson who left the group in 2006. The new album This Is Us features songwriting and production from longtime collaborator, hitmaker producer Max Martin who produced the band’s signature hit “I Want it That Way. Additionally lending production and songwriting; Ryan Tedder, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Pitbull, and Jim Johnson.

In an interview with LiveDaily, Howie Dorough discussed the new album:

: There’s an album track called “This Is Us,” which I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to co-write. The guys, when we were racking our brains thinking of names for the album, somebody said, “What about ‘This is Us’? That’s interesting.” With this album, we feel like we kind of went back to what people really know of the Backstreet Boys, the sound of the pop/R&B with a little Euro-dance influence We felt this is what the Backstreet Boys are really known for. We went in this direction and “This is Us.”

Here is the Backstreet Boys Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien video of the band’s Oct. 8, 2009 performance of Straight Through My Heart, lead single of their seventh studio album, This Is Us.

The Grammy nominated band’s highly anticipated album was released October 6, 2009; the lead single was produced by RedOne. The band’s original lineup is the same: Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and A. J. McLean with the exception of Kevin Richardson who left the group in 2006. In addition to RedOne, the album features production from celebrated hitmaker producer Max Martin who produced the band’s signature hit “I Want it That Way. Additional production and appearances from Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Pitbull, Ryan Tedder, and Jim Johnson.

Just prior to the release of the album, Brian Littrell had been diagnosed with swine flu, thus resulting in cancellation of appearances on the CBS Early Show and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, but he was recovered to appear on the late night talk show. Here is the official Backstreet Boys This is Us album track-listing, cover, video, and photos. The highly anticipated album is the seventh from the Grammy nominated boy band and will be released October 6, 2009. It has produced a lead single Straight Through My Heart (Soldier Down).

Backstreet Boys are currently comprised of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and A. J. McLean. Kevin Richardson left the group in 2006. The forthcoming album, This Is Us will feature production from Max Martin who produced the Backstreet Boys signature hit “I Want it That Way. According to Rolling Stone, the album has additional production and appearances from Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Pitbull, Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, RedOne, and Jim Johnson.

In an interview with the publication, all the band members shared their thoughts on the new album:

“The production on this record has been pushed a little more,” says McLean. “It’s edgy and current but also shows our love for the pop-R&B that we grew up on.” Carter interjects: “Jodeci, Boys II Men, Shai, New Edition… we had to go back and remember our influences and what taught us in the years when we were developing into a band.”

And Littrell adds that if you were to take away all the bells and whistles, the basics of the song with that Backstreet sweet spot is what defines their raison d’etre. “That’s why Michael Jackson was a true artist,” he says, “because you could take away every beat and every layer and just dance to his voice. That vocal instrument is what we’ve always known, and I can honestly say without this sounding egotistical: when we sing collectively, there is a magic.”

They will be touring in the U.S. the U.K. and Europe in support of the forthcoming album; the Backstreet Boys tour dates 2009 will be kicking off on October 23, 2009 in Phoenix and thereafter the band will embark on the U.K. and European leg.

Here is the official Backstreet Boys Straight Through My Heart video, lyrics and photos. It is in support of the lead single of the Grammy nominated boy band’s forthcoming seventh studio album, This Is Us, set for release October 6, 2009. The single is alternately known as Straight Through My Heart (Soldier Down). The music video had its official premiere on August 27, 2009 on the US Magazine Web site.

The music video which was directed by Kai Regan and shot on location near downtown Los Angeles, is preceded by an on screen caption: “A group who band together to protect innocent mortals or Kine against the Gentry. Vampires who hunt for prey at bars and nightclubs. Sometimes these hunters become the hunted.” It is set in a night club where the band is seen performing. The and Backstreet Boys Straight Through My Heart has a subtle but pervasive vampire theme throughout.

The band is presently a quartet after the departure of Kevin Richardson; members are Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and A. J. McLean.
