The setting is the Barack Obama campaign national headquarters. The date is November 3, 2008 at 11:30 p.m. The song is “One Day More” from the musical, Les Miserables, and the result is magnificent. Directed by J.D. Walsh, this is one of the best videos we have seen during the 2008 election season.

This excellent mash up video reveals the parallels of Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention 2008 (DNC) on August 28, 2008 and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech delivered at the March on Washington exactly 45 years earlier; interspersing footage from both historic events. The video features Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks.”
