Stephen Colbert on “The Colbert Report” comments upon the video of Bill O’Reilly having a profanity-laced meltdown on “Inside Edition” in an old clip from the 1990s that surfaced on YouTube in the past few days. Colbert reveals that he has more in common with his mentor O’Reilly than we previously knew.
Speaking of meltdowns, Gawker has put together a compilation clip of several news reporters and news anchors having meltdowns of various kinds, including the very recent clip of New York City’s WNBC local news anchor Sue Simmons who was heard unleashing the “f-bomb” on a live news promo two days ago. The real Hillary Clinton left the chore of convincing voters she has a chance to win the nomination to her Saturday Night Live counterpart, Amy Poehler. We hesitate to call this a parody. It’s really just a slight — very slight — exaggeration of the real Hillary Clinton’s arguments (”sore loser,” “no ethical standards,” “my supporters are racist.” etc.) for staying in the race. The YouTube video was pulled but this video from NBC remains.
