Brooke Burke, Dancing with the Stars Co-Host, Season 10 (Video, Photos)

Brooke Burke, picture above, was announced as Dancing with the Stars co-host for season 10 on ABC Good Morning America on March 8, 2010, by the show’s host Tom Bergeron. She was the DWTS Season 7 winner. Details and video are after the jump.

Brooke Burke is formerly the host of ‘Wild On’ on E! and ‘Rock Star’ on CBS. Tom Bergeron said of Burke, who replaces Samantha Harris:

“We have somebody with Brooke. … She looks amazing and she’ll be able to talk to the couples backstage with the perspective of having been through it herself.”

Here is the Dancing with the Stars 2010 line-up. The DWTS season 10 cast list was announced on March 1, 2010 during the season finale of ABC The Bachelor and includes an Olympic gold medalist, an NFL star, and a reality TV star, among others. The season premiere will be on Monday, March 22, 2010. The full list is below after the jump.

Filipino Prisoners Dance to Michael Jackson This Is It (Video)

Here is the Filipino prisoners’ dance to the Michael Jackson This Is It video in a routine by MJ’s choreographer Travis Payne. Inmates at the prison in the Philippines internationally famous for previous viral videos of dance routines to MJ’s greatest hits songs and and tributes have performed their latest dance routine to the title song of the documentary film based on the King of Pop’s concert series which was to have premiered in London.

Travis Payne, along with dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid visited the prisoners at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) in Cebu, south of Manila, and taught them the dance routine. Here is the Sound of Music Train Station Video which has gone viral. Witness 200 dancers take over Antwerp Station in Belgium, (Centraal station in Antwerpen) dancing to the famous Do Re Mi song from the Sound of Music musical and movie variously known as Maria’s Dance and Maria’s Song. The video has been around since late March 2009 and grows increasingly popular.

It follows in the tradition of flash mob events. and is reminiscent of the now famous T-Mobile ‘Dance’ Ad Liverpool Street Station Video.Like other such events it is a promotion, in this case for a TV program, VTM ‘In Search of Maria’ according to reports in RLT Boulevard) and De Standard but nonetheless it is sheer joy to watch and hear.
