I have had many pursuits in media and publishing, as editor and graphic designer, as co-editor of an underground zine of literature and politics, as a corporate communications and public relations consultant in the health sciences industry.

I taught creative writing at my alma mater, Oberlin College. Three my students later went on to the Iowa Writers Workshop and have since received their MFA degrees. That is a gratifying feeling, to know you have been a positive force in the creative development of a fellow writer.

I have had a lifelong interest in pop culture, entertainment, music, politics, and cultural history. I’ve been on the Internet for so long it’s hard to imagine life without the world, literally at my fingertips and I’m happy to share what I discover day by day.
