Women’s Division:
Mary Keitany of Kenya: unofficial finish time of 2 hours, 22 minutes, and 48 seconds. It is her fourth time winning the NYC Marathon.

Men’s Division:
Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia: unofficial final time of 2 hours, 5 minutes and 59 seconds.

In the New York City Metro area you can watch the free 2018 New York City Marathon on television on WABC 7. U.S. cable TV subscribers can watch on ESPN 2 or online via WatchESPN.

The Web-cast begins at 7 a.m. ET and ends until 2 p.m. ET. Live cable TV coverage is on ESPN 2 nationwide starting at 9 a.m. ET. In the NYC Metro area WABC 7 is scheduled to broadcast the entire race starting at 9 a.m. ET. Get more details on the local coverage here.

8:55 a.m. Foot Locker Five-Borough Challenge

10:40 a.m. Wave 3
11:00 a.m. Wave 4

The official marathon course covers all five boroughs of New York City — Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Manhattan. The starting line is in Staten Island and takes runners across the Verazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn. Runners also cross the Queensboro Bridge into the Upper East Side of Manhattan, heading uptown to The Bronx. The final stretch takes runners through Central Park to the finish line near Columbus Circle. You can see the complete course map here.

More than 50,000 runners are expected this year. Last year, there were 50,773 finishers in total. The average time from start to finish was 4:39:07.
