Darius Rucker performed in support of ‘When Was the Last Time,’ his fifth country music album and his seventh album overall. The album was released in October 2017 to critical acclaim and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.

The set-list of his live concert included “For the First Time,” the second single from ‘When Was the Last Time,’ as well as his.’No. 1 hit single, ‘Wagon Wheel.’ He also performed one of his earlier country music hits, ‘Alright,’ which is from his 2009 album “Learn to Live.”

In a brief interview with Carson Daly and the Today Show crew, Rucker was asked about the title of his single and its significance. Rucker shared items on his bucket list, revealing that seeing McCartney had been on that list. He said still left on the list is a visit to the Egyptian Pyramids.

The live audience at The Plaza at Rockefeller Center included members of the armed forces — Navy, Marines and Coast Guard– who were in town for the annual Fleet Week in New York City.
