Groundhog Day 2018: Watch Punxsutawney Phil Live Stream Video Online

Watch live stream video and replay of Groundhog Day on Friday, February 2, 2018 starting at 6:30 a.m. ET (GMT/UTC – 5). Punxsutawney Phil of Gobbler’s Knob, Pennsylvania ventures out at sunrise and if he sees his shadow, predicts six more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t see his shadow, we’re in for an early spring, according to the folklore. This year marks the 132nd year of the annual tradition at Gobbler’s Knob.

The live web-feed coverage starts at 6 a.m. ET and ends 8:30 a.m. ET (GMT/UTC – 5). Use the World Clock to find the equivalent in your own time zone on Friday, February 2 or Saturday, February 3 accordingly.

At sunrise, approximately 7:25 a.m. ET local time in Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney Phil’s handlers will let the world know the answer to the looming question of the day. Did the groundhog sees his shadow? Or did the groundhog not see his shadow?

If he sees his shadow, we will have six more weeks of winter. On the other hand, if he doesn’t see his shadow, we’re set for an early spring, according to the little prognosticator.

Punxsutawney Phil was the groundhog featured in the 1980s Bill Murray movie ‘Groundhog Day’ and ever since has been arguably the most famous groundhog in the world, although Staten Island Chuck is also quite well known.
