Laura Marling performed in support of her sixth studio album, ‘Semper Femina,’released on March 10th to universal critical acclaim and debuted at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. It’s her first new album since 2015’s ‘Short Movie,’ which also won widespread acclaim and was re-released in a deluxe edition, ‘Short Movie (Director’s Cut),’ that same year

Marling was signed to a record deal at age 16 and rose to fame with her 2008 debut album, ‘Alas, I Cannot Swim’ which was nominated for the Mercury Prize. A few years later, with her sophomore album, ‘ I Speak Because I Can,’ she won the 2011 Best British Female Brit Award.
