Here’s the full video of Jackie Evancho’s interview on Fox News ‘Fox & Friends.’ She spoke about singing the National Anthem at President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration despite the backlash that has led other performers to cancel their participation. The classical singer — who rose to fame on ‘America’s Got Talent’ at age 10 — is among the performers at the Trump Inauguration along with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.

She said of performing in spite of social media backlash, “This is an honor for me to sing for my country. There’s no politics involved.”

She also confirmed that her downloads have gone up since her decision to perform at the Inauguration. She said, “It has helped increase sales and also social media, which is great. I’m getting new fans and losing some. But the one’s I’m gaining, I’m really happy.”

Jackie Evancho first met President-Elect Donald Trump in 2010 (photo below) shortly after becoming the runner up on America’s Got Talent.
