Gwen Stefani on ‘GMA’ (Video) Full Interview, ‘Make Me Like You’ Performance

Here’s the full video of Gwen Stefani ‘Good Morning America.’ See the interview and the performance of ‘Make Me Like You’ by the multi-Grammy winning No Doubt frontwoman and former coach on NBC’s ‘The Voice.’ The replay is below.

Gwen Stefani’s appearance on the show was support of her recently released third solo studio album, ‘This Is What The Truth Feels Like.’ It’s her first solo album in a decade and also her first solo album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In the interview with GMA’s Lara Spencer, Stefani opened up about her divorce from her husband of 13 years, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale as well as her new relationship with country music superstar Blake Shelton who was also her fellow coach on season 9 of NBC’s the Voice.

She spoke about how she channeled emotions into the songs of her new album. Acknowledging she had been through a lot, she said, “I have. If I didn’t do that I would haven’t this. You have to be grateful for all of it.”

Continuing, she said, “I can’t even find the words. Oh, my God. I was embarrassed. Like I can’t go down. This is not who I am. I’m not going to fail. I had to make something good out of it. I’m going to make this into music.”

She also opened up about the song, ‘Make Me Like You,’ acknowledging, as she has previously, that it is about Blake Shelton. She said, “That song was one of my favorites to write. It came out. I was feeling that way. It’s what I felt that day. I miss you right now, here it is.”

She went on to say, “Everybody in the room was kind of, like, whoa, this is happening right now. It was written fast. 10, 15 minutes the whole thing just done.”
