Fall Out Boy’s current lineup is comprised of Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman, and Andy Hurley. The new album, ‘Save Rock and Roll’ is their first since 2008 and their subsequent four-year hiatus. It debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In the brief interview with NBC’s Matt Lauder and Savannah Guthrie band members acknowledged the extreme heat and that it was causing their guitars to go in and out of tune. Asked to reflect upon the hiatus, they said they knew they needed a break, and that it was an opportunity to “reset yourself in life.” They also spoke about their tour in support of the album.
