Here are behind the scenes photos and video of Jay-Z’s ‘Picasso Baby’ performance art and music video shoot at Pace Gallery in New York City. The song is from the hip-hop icon’s newly released ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ album. Video, pictures and more details are below, after the jump.

A behind-the-scenes video is posted above. Pace Gallery, located in Chelsea in Manhattan was the setting for the Jay’Z’s six-hour long performance art and music video shoot on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.

As seen in the clip above as well as the photos, Jay-Z was joined by several artists from a variety of disciplines from music to visual arts, including Wale, Jerry Saltz, Judd Apatow, Adam Driver, and performance artist Marina Abramovi? and others.

The video shoot took place a day after the July 9 release of the ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ album to the general public, after the million purchased by Samsung for its Galaxy smartphone customers which has already earned the release platinum certification by the RIAA.
