Full video of the live performance is posted above. As noted, Phillip Phillips performed ‘This Christmas,’ and, playing his acoustic guitar, was accompanied by the orchestra. Phillips’ newly released debut studio album, ‘The World from the Side of the Moon,’ debuted in the top 5 of the Billboard 200.

The lineup of music performers at the event, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and attended by President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama as well as the First Family, daughters Sasha and Malia, included the U.S. Navy Band jazz ensemble, the Commodores, James Taylor, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, The Fray, and Ledisi.
