His song, ‘Born Free’ has been used as the theme song for the campaign.

New Hampshire was chosen as the location of the last event of the 2012 Romney-Ryan campaign because the state is where the the former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney began his campaign, in a June 2011 speech delivered in Stratham. He owns a home in the state, in Wolfeboro.

Both Gov. Romney and his VP running mate Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan have made numerous campaign trips to New Hampshire in recent weeks. Although it has only 4 electoral votes, New Hampshire is among the key battleground states in the election. A Nov. 4 WMUR-Granite State poll shows that Gov. Romney is trailing slightly behind incumbent President Barack Obama percent 50 versus 46 percent. The polling data has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.
