The President’s appearance in Aurora, Colorado marks the last of four campaign stops in as many states and is part of a weekend-long campaign blitz of key battleground states in the 2012 election. Numerous recent polls indicate a close race, with the President gaining and/or holding a slight lead in a few of the battleground states including Wisconsin and Nevada as well as Ohio, considered the most crucial of all for victory, while contender GOP candidate Gov. Mitt Romney has a slight lead in Florida, which has 29 electoral votes.
