Here is the Gov. Mitt Romney, Rep. Paul Ryan 60 Minutes video from Sun. Aug. 12, 2012. Watch the full interview with CBS News ‘Face the Nation’ anchor Bob Schieffer of the presumptive Republican presidential candidate and his newly picked VP running mate in their first joint sit-down interview since the Aug. 11 announcement in Norfolk, Virginia by Gov. Romney of the Wisconsin Congressman and Chairman of the House Budget Committee as his Vice Presidential pick. Details and full replay are below.

News broke in the early hours of Sat. Aug. 11 of Ryan’s selection, as the campaign kept his selection secret for several days, and stealthily transported Rep. Ryan to Norfolk, VA for the official announcement.

The two candidates began a bus tour of four key battleground states — Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio. The interview with Bob Schieffer was conducted at a furniture factory in High Point, NC for broadcast later in the day (Aug. 12).

The interview covered a range of topics including Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget, Roadmap for America’s Future,, which has its share of proponents as well as critics for how it overhauls federal government spending, and in particular, Medicare. Other topics covered included what responsibilities Rep. Ryan would have in a Romney administration.
