The popular reality TV series from executive produces Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson, shows just what happens when company owners, CEOs and other top-level executives g incognito to work unnoticed among their own rank and file employees. They learn firsthand the impact of management decisions on their employees and become motivated to take “extreme actions to make their businesses better.”

Season 3 episode 13 features Jose Mas, CEO of MasTec and son of the company founder, Cuban immigrant Jorge Mas Canosa. The Coral Gables, Florida-based company is a leading infrastructure construction company working in the areas of water and sewer, communications, renewable energy, as well as traditional electric, gas and oil. While undercover he worked a variety of jobs around the U.S. He said in a written statement:
