Watch the Coldplay tribute to the late Beastie Boys co-founder, Adam Yauch, MCA. The band performed a cover of (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party), one of the pioneering hip-hop trio’s signature hits, live on stage at their concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on Fri. May 4, 2012. It was earlier that day that Yauch died at 47 on after a long battle with cancer. Details and video are below after the jump.

Full video is above. Chris Martin, frontman of the multi-Grammy winning band sat at the piano and sang the song lyrics — rather than rapping them — adding at the end, “And so we’re sending all our love to the Beastie Boys.”
