“In the two-and-a-half-minute trailer, voiceover by Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) reveals that the biggest struggle in his life – bigger even than dating the daughter of the police chief on his tail – is unraveling the mystery of his parents’ disappearance. New footage breezes past his bitten-by-a-radioactive-spider origin story to showcase Spidey’s sense of humor — on display in a scene where he jokingly cowers after a thief pulls a knife on him.”

The highly anticipated 3D movie from director Marc Webb co-stars Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors (The Lizard), Martin Sheen as Ben Parker, Sally Field as May Parker and Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy. It will be released in theaters on July 3, 2012.
As with previous screen adaptations this franchise reboot is based on the iconic Marvel Comics character with Andrew Garfield (‘The Social Network’) making his debut in the title role. Set photos here.
