Here is the Rihanna Where Have You Been video. The official music video had its premiere on VEVO on Mon. April 30, 2012 in support of the single from her sixth album Talk That Talk. Full video and more details below after the jump.

The song was produced by Dr. Luke and Calvin Harris. The video was directed by Dave Meyers, showcasing choreography by Nadine “Hi-Hat” Ruffin. Here’s New York Daily News‘ take:

“At one point during the video, Rihanna kicks up some sand along some oiled barechested male dancers in a desert-set dance that evokes a little bit of Janet Jackson’s classic routine from “Together Again.” At another, its women backup dancers that join the singer for a dance in the midst of a thick smoke machine fog.”
