Here is the Nicki Minaj Beez in the Trap video featuring rapper 2 Chainz . The official music video had its premiere on Fri. April 6, 2012 in support of the multi-platinum selling rapper’s newly released sophomore studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The video was directed by Benny Boom and features both music artists along with numerous back-up dancers. In a recent interview on SiriusXM Radio’s ‘Sway in the Morning,’ she talked about developments in her music and artistic sensibility and how the public has responded to her.
“I think I went from being a caricature in people’s eyes to someone with a lot of layers. You just gotta realize that I’m never gonna be one dimensional. Even my core fans at times thought I was one dimensional when I was doing the mixtapes. However, even on the mixtapes, I was singing and I was doing songs like ‘Can Anybody Hear Me.’” … When mainstream got a hold of Nicki Minaj, they turned her into a girl that wears wigs and has funny voices. So then we had to get past that. And then I had to reel it in and say, ‘Hey, actually I’m a businesswoman.’”
According to Billboard.com, her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is projected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with estimated sales of 215,000 to 235,000 copies.
