The appearance was Romney’s first on late night television during the campaign season. Playing it straight, he covered a range of topics including the economy, the health care legislation which is up before the Supreme Court, and more.
He injected some humor at one point, saying he would pick David Letterman for his VP running mate. When asked to assess some potential Vice Presidential running mates in one word, he said of opponent former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum: “Press secretary” alluding to his altercation with New York Times reporter Jeff Zeleny which saw the candidate utter a curse word. Of others: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was “indomitable,” Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan was “creative,” Florida Senator Marco Rubio was “the American Dream,” South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was “energetic” and Donald Trump was “huge.”

Gov. Romney is a class act. When given the clance to be snarky he rises above it. Not only good with economics but I think he and his wife would make great examples for USA kids who live in a much more course world.
