Here is the Taylor Swift Today Show video from Tues. Feb. 14, 2012. Watch the full interview by NBC’s Jenna Bush Hager with the multi-Grammy winning singer-songwriter. She discussed a range of topics including the maturing of her music as well as the forthcoming big screen animated film adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic children’s book “The Lorax” of which she is one of the voice actors in an all-star cast.

Having risen to international fame as a teenager and the recipient of numerous awards including Grammy Awards as well as Academy of Country Music Awards, she reflected upon what maturing as an artist, at age 22, means to her, saying, “I’ll never have the moment where I’m like, ‘I’m a woman, now, guys, I’m only going to write dark songs and I’m going to dance in my bra all the time. That’s not really me.”

She also talked about the Dr. Seuss books, and their influence upon her. “I think I was very inspired with what Dr. Seuss was able to do with words,” she said.

The movie, The Lorax, will be released in theaters on March 2, 2012 and additionally features the voices of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Betty White, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle and Jenny Slate.
