Kate Upton Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2012 Cover (Photos, Video)

Kate Upton is on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2012 cover. The issue was unveiled on Mon. Feb. 13 on Late Show with David Letterman. She appears in a bikini by Cali Dreaming, and was photographed in in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia by famed SI photographer Walter Iooss Jr. The issue was released in print and digitally — retail stores, newsstands, iPad, and other tablet computers and mobile platforms today, Feb. 14. As per tradition, the cover was unveiled on Feb. 14 during the Late Show with David Letterman (although it leaked online hours earlier) on a billboard in New York City opposite the Ed Sullivan Theatre where the program is recorded for broadcast. Prior to the unveiling several models took part in reading the Letterman Top 10 List — among them Irina Shayk (who graced last year’s cover), Jessica Gomes, Izabel Goulart, Julie Henderson, Ariel Meredith, Alyssa Miller, Genevieve Morton, Jessica Perez and Chrissy Teigen.
