Rep. Paul, as noted placed 4th in the primary with approximately 7 percent of votes cast. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won with approximately 47 percent of the vote followed by former Speaker Newt Gingrich with 32 percent, and former Sen. Rick Santorum with 13 percent.
