Dina Dwyer-Owens, The Dwyer Group CEO, is featured on CBS, ‘Undercover Boss,’ on season 3 episode 2 which will be broadcast on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Details and a preview are below after the jump.

The popular reality TV series now in its third season chronicles the events that unfold when CEOs and other top executives of corporations, organizations and institutions go undercover in disguise to work unnoticed among the rank and file of their own workforce. As they gain firsthand knowledge of how management decisions impact employees they are now armed with insight to take “extreme actions to make their businesses better.” Executive producers of the series are Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson.

Dina Dwyer-Owens is Chairwoman and CEO of The Dwyer Group, the Waco, Texas-based parent company of several trade service franchises including Rainbow International, Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning, Mr. Rooter Plumbing, and Glass Doctor, among others. While undercover at the company founded in 1981 by her late father, Don Dwyer, Sr., she worked a variety of jobs. In an interview with the Catholic News Service, she spoke of her experience.

“To see how much our employees and our franchisees care is really awesome…Being out there in the van with the service professionals and the franchisees for a day or half a day really doing the work that they do, I have a whole new appreciation and respect for these professionals,” she said. “I look at myself and think, ‘I wonder what their day’s going to be like today.’ Their work is hard. It’s hard work. It was hot when I was out there with them, and they were doing it every day.”
