Watch The Amazing Spider-Man trailer video. The first official teaser trailer of Spider-Man 4 starring Andrew Garfield (picture above) in the title role, and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, was directed by Marc Webb and will be released in theaters on July 3, 2012.

The highly anticipated 3D movie is a reboot of the franchise, following the most recent Spider-Man 3 in 2007. It is based on the Marvel Comics character who is portrayed for the first time by Andrew Garfield, who appeared as Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network in 2010. It will co-star Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors (The Lizard), Martin Sheen as Ben Parker, Sally Field as May Parker and Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy.
