Here is the Rebecca Black Tonight Show with Jay Leno video from Tues. March 22, 2011 of the interview and performance of Friday. The song and its official music video made the 13-year-old unsigned singer a viral video success on YouTube and it is now climbing the chart at iTunes.

During the interview, she addressed the criticism she has received for the song (click here for official music video) which was written and produced by Ark Music Factory.
She said: “I cried, you know, but I’m 13… Being a teenager you know, you care about what other people think about you, so I was like all of the world hates me I’m gonna die.”
The singer is making money on iTunes from sales of the single and the video has received thus far more than 38 million views on YouTube. It has spawned a number of parody videos, while also attracting attention from industry professionals and performers including Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest and Will Smith. She said of the parodies: “”I think they can either be really hilarious and make me laugh like ’til I cry, but others are really lame.”
