Hillary Duff presented the award to Miley Cyrus for her work with with Blessings in a Backpack and Get Ur Good On. In her acceptance speech she said:
“I created Get Ur Good On with Youth Services America because I wanted kids to understand what it feels like to see these smiles and to know that they make a difference…It doesn’t matter how young they are or what their dream is…as long as they have passion that’s what’s important.”
