Here is the President Barack Obama Penn State University speech from Thurs. Feb. 3, 2011. His address at University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania will follow a tour of the energy labs on campus. Watch live stream video here at 12:15 p.m ET. The President will speak before an audience at Recreation Hall. According to a White House release, Penn State Univ. provides leadership for Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster for Energy Efficient Buildings (GPIC), which is located at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia. In 2010 the Dept. of Energy gave the university $122 million for the development of energy efficient building technology and the retrofitting of existing buildings.
