Here is the Carolina Herrera on The View video from March 12, 2010. As part of the Fashion Friday series, the legendary designer presented a runway show, including selections from her couture evening wear, casual and children’s collections, and was interviewed by co-hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopie Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the ABC daytime talk show.

During the interview, the Venezuela-born designer, who has dressed many celebrities and public figures including the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Meryl Streep, she said that her grandmother taking her to a Paris fashion show was the impetus for her career.
