The contestant also known as Big Mike (picture above) delivered a stellar performance of the Kate Bush song, also covered by Maxwell, and earned high praise from all the judges; Simon Cowell called the best performance of the live shows this season.

Randy Jackson called his performance, “hot.” Ellen DeGeneres said: “You are the one to beat now.” Kara DioGuardi cried, and said it was the first time a performance on the show had brought her to tears. Simon Cowell, as noted, said it was the best performance of all of the live shows this season.
