The singer (picture above) is known for his breakthrough performance of Straight Up during Hollywood Week which Kara DioGardi referenced, saying: “You peaked so early, and you’ve been chasing that ever since, you were fighting with the rhythm of the song.” Simon Cowell said: “For me, it really came over…it was a little bit desperate, you over thought it…you’re kind of still going backwards at the moment.”
