UPDATE: Here is the full transcript text of the speech.
In his fiery hour-long address, Beck, with his signature blackboard, drew frequent applause for his denunciation of big government and progressivism, which he called “a cancer in America,” criticizing both Republicans and Democrats for spending. He drew parallels to the 12-step program, citing his own status as a former alcoholic, as well as using the Tiger Woods apology statement as a metaphor, with such crowd-pleasing lines as “Hello, my name is the Republican Party and I have a problem. I’m addicted to spending and big government.” He alluded to 20th century American history, tracing progressivism back to Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt, hailed the 1920s for the growth of the middle class, discussed the Statue of Liberty and its inscription, taken from the poem by Emma Lazarus.

I truly think Glenn Beck is a joke and not sure what our party associates themselves with these type of loonies. God help this nation if we have to listen and follow Glenn Beck’s example as our way to salvation.

Really, as long as Glenn Beck is pointing the People to the Constitution and not to some Party I’ll listen to him. Oh and by the way Jesus leads to personal salvation. The Constitution will be this country’s salvation
