Here is the Scott Brown Barbara Walters interview video on ABC This Week on Jan. 31, 2010 with Walters as guest host of the ABC News Sunday morning talk show. The newly elected Republican Senator from Massachusetts addressed a range of topics including his recent victory over Democratic candidate Martha Coakley in the closely watched election whose outcome ended the Democratic 60-vote super-majority in the Senate. He assumed the Senate seat which had been held for more than 46 years by the late Ted Kennedy.

In assessing his place on the political spectrum, he said: “I’m a Scott Brown Republican…That means I’m going to go down there and be accountable, accessible, open, and honest, and I’m going to bring good government and fairness back to the equation.”
He noted that he is a fiscal conservative with moderate views on social issues, including abortion of which he said: “I feel this issue is best handled between a woman and her doctor and her family.”

I had to laugh when Barbara Walters kept bringing up Scott Brown’s magazine photo of almost 30 years ago. I loves Scott’s response. Later in the show Walters said there was an article about her in the same issue….but she had her clothes on–all I could say was Thank you Lord!!
