Here is the Oscar de la Renta on The View video from Jan. 29, 2010. The legendary designer appeared on the Fashion Friday show. He presented a runway show of his spring collection and bridal dress collection and was interviewed by co-hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopie Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the ABC daytime talk show.
During the interview he reflected upon his early beginnings in the fashion industry and rise to prominence as a designer whose fashions have been worn by numerous celebrities as well as former First Lady Laura Bush and First Lady Michelle Obama. He also talked about his charitable work, including an orphanage in his native country, the Dominican Republic.
