Here are National Geographic DogTown: The Road Home video and photos. The new episode will premiere on Fri. Jan. 29, 2010 at 10 pm ET/PT on NatGeo channel.

In the new episode, John Garcia and his wife, McKenzie, travel to Southern California for a bittersweet goodbye with their foster dog, Little Girl. Michelle Besmehn, dog care manager, starts a new training regimen with Shocky, whose hyperactivity tests her considerable patience. Additionally veterinarian Dr. Mike Dix helps a chubby Chihuahua-mix named Tuli who must slim before being considered for adoption.

See also the new online DogTown game which allows participants a change to try volunteering at the virtual DogTown and help in the mental and physical rehabilitation of dogs, with the ultimate goal of finding them a home.
