Here are National Geographic DogTown: Dog Fight video and photos. Season 4 of the popular series premieres on Fri., Jan. 1, 2010 at 10 PM ET/PT. The premiere focuses on the discovery of Michael Vick’s illegal dogfighting ring, which brought worldwide attention organized underworld of dogfighting, and the rescue and rehabilitation of some of his pitbulls by DogTown manager Michelle Besmehn.

The rescued dogs include Cherry, a pit bull mix who spent his life alternately in a cage and as a bait dog used to raise the confidence of a champion fighter. Through rehabilitation he is able to overcome his fear of people. The program also reveals how DogTown manager John Garcia made progress with former champion dogfighter Georgia to the point that she becomes a spokesdog, traveling with him to various events around the country. Additionally, in Detroit, investigators Debby MacDonald and Mark Ramos of the Michigan Humane Society embark on a mission to investigate and arrest an elusive dogfighting suspect.
