Here is the Danny Gokey My Best Days album cover art, track-listing and latest news on the season 8 American Idol finalist’s highly anticipated debut album which will be released in March 2010 on 19 Recordings/RCA Nashville. The lead single is now available for digital download.

At a recent performance of the lead single, My Best Days are Ahead of Me, from which the album takes its title, the singer-songwriter said:

“Here’s what I like about that song: You know, many people saw me on the show with a tragedy and saw what I’ve gone through, and the decision that I made to try out for American Idol, with losing my wife. But I want to tell people now, my focus was kept right. It wasn’t very easy. It was difficult, but I kept a positive attitude, didn’t let anger or bitterness get to me. I really, genuinely feel like something that could’ve been very negative for the rest of my life turned into something positive.”
