Here is the Adam Lambert Jay Leno Show video of his Dec. 21, 2009 appearance on the late night talk show. He was interviewed and performed Whataya Want from Me in support of For Your Entertainment, his newly released debut album.
The season 8 American Idol runner up discussed his early beginnings, including his stint of working at Starbucks. He also discussed his long history as a professional singer and performer in musical theater which proceeded his meteoric rise to fame via Idol. He also talked about the departure of Paula Abdul, noting the warmth and positive reinforcement she offered performers.
He talked about the controversial AMA performance, conceding that it was not consistent with rehearsals. He also dispelled rumors that he did not get along with his father in the aftermath of the AMA controversy, and rumors that he had started a make-up line.
