During the wide ranging and lively interview, the season 8 American Idol runner up discussed his controversial AMA performance, saying that the parts that the ABC network had objected to were unplanned, as the host expressed her approval of the performance. He also discussed his song, Fever, and music video collaboration with Lady GaGa.
