Here is the Oprah Christmas at the White House video from Dec. 13, 2009 a prime-time special with interviews with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and a behind the scenes look at the longstanding holiday traditions at the White House, past and present. The First Dog, Bo, also made an appearance.
In the interview with Oprah Winfrey, the President discussed his Afghanistan war strategy and said that overall he gives his first year in office a B+ because of work unfinished, notably health care reform as well as the ongoing economic crisis. Regarding losing his temper, he said: “I don’t yell. I speak more clearly and crisply with an edge in my voice.”
In a joint interview, the President and First Lady joked about who gave better gifts. In discussing what Oprah termed an enviable marriage, Michelle Obama said, “I think we have a wonderful marriage. I love my husband. He’s my best friend.” She noted “there are struggles to get here. The message is to walk through the struggles.” The first couple also discussed home and family life, noting that their daughters Sasha and Malia enjoy Camp David and sleepovers with friends.
The President reflected upon his dwindling approval rating noting that it was what he anticipated given the economic crisis and 10 percent unemployment.
In response to Oprah’s question as to what he wishes for the American people this Christmas, Obama said, “I want the American people to feel confident that out future is great. The 21st century will be as much the American century as the 20th century …If we have a seriousness of purpose, nobody can touch us.”

Where is the rest of the program of Oprah’s Christmas interview with Pres Obama and the First Lady at the White House. Your Part 3 goes ONLY to the moment O has asked, “What grade would you give yourself?” and STOPS abruptly there. Where is the rest of the hour of interview with the Pres and the First Lady? Please direct me to links for that as I was unable to see it first hand and would like to see it now. Thank you.
