Here is the full Sarah Palin Oprah interview video of her Nov. 16, 2009 appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show in support of Going Rogue: An American Life, the former Alaska Governor and 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate’s new book, published by HarperCollins, with a first-edition printing of 1.5 million copies.

In the extensive interview, taped at Oprah’s Chicago studio before an audience, Palin, with her daughters Piper and Willow in tow, spoke on a variety of topics from the 2008 Presidential campaign to the pregnancy of her teenage daughter Bristol.

She spoke about the riffs between herself and the John McCain presidential campaign which she said began when the story broke about the pregnancy of Bristol, her teenage daughter by her then-boyfriend Levi Johnston. She said the McCain campaign drafted a press release of which she disagreed. She said: “I thought we had a chance to make a statement about teen pregnancy, so I wrote a new draft.” However the campaign went on to release the original statement. Reflecting upon the incident, she said: “That was really the first taste for me of what I was allowed to say.”

As for the controversy over the wardrobe which was paid for by the campaign, she said, the clothing was chosen for her. “I don’t even like to shop…never thinking it would be a big controversy.”

She also discussed the interview with CBS news anchor Katie Couric in general and in particular the incident in which Couric asked her what newspapers she read and she declined to name any. She said of the question, “I was already so annoyed” and that she was thinking, “Are you kidding me? It was like asking “do you read?” She also talked about the context of the question which occurred when she saw Katie Couric backstage after a rally. She said on the program that her reaction upon seeing here was “There’s the perky one again, with the microphone.”

She was also outspoken about the Levi Johnson, father of her grandchild, saying of his Playgirl spread, “I call it porn” and “it’s a bit heartbreaking.”

When Oprah asked if she is running for President in 2012 she said, “It’s not on my radar screen right now as I am dealing with so many issues that are important.”

When asked if she is getting her own talk show, she said, “Oprah, you are the queen of talk shows.” She went on to note that in the 1990s she watched the show as a stay at home mom and said, “You provide a lot of inspiration.”
