Here are Berlin U2 Jay-Z video, photos, set-list, reviews at the Brandenburg Gate on Nov. 5, 2009 in a performance of Sunday Bloody Sunday with a cover of Bob Marley’s Get Up Stand Up. See also Jay-Z’s performance of Empire State of Mind at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Both the concert and the awards ceremony took place in the German city in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Jay-Z took home an MTV EMA Award for Best Live Act and U2 won the Best Live Act Award. The performance at the gate took place ahead of the EMAs and saw Bono introducing Jay-Z on stage as “The Mayor of New York City.” Full set-list for the concert as follows:
