Here is the Allison Iraheta Just Like You track-list and album cover art. The season 8 American Idol finalist’s debut album will be released on Dec. 1, 2009.
Artwork can be seen here: Allison Iraheta ‘Just Like You’ album cover. She had high praise for celebrated hitmaker Max Martin, who produced the lead single, Friday I’ll Be Over You, (which can be heard below via the video), saying:
[He] pulled it out of his magic box. He came up with an awesome song and sent I to me and we cut it and it was just amazing. He definitely knows how to put himself in other people’s shoes.

In an interview with MTV News she talked about some of the other tracks.
“For the album, there’s some harder stuff I’m really excited about, but I’m pretty damn happy with ‘Friday I’ll Be Over U.’ ”
One of those harder songs is “Beat Me Up,” a song produced by Kevin Rudolf, who’s worked with the likes of Lil Wayne and Cobra Starship. Last month, Rudolf spoke with MTV News about his collaboration with Iraheta.
“I don’t write bubblegum pop,” the producer said. “Even if I write something that’s poppy, I always try to do something with integrity and that’s real and has heart. We did a cool record. It has a little bit of a wink to it, but it’s smart. To me, she’s like the new Janis Joplin or Pat Benetar.”

These song titles sound very unique. Allison’s album sounds very promising. I can’t wait to hear all of the songs, but I’m especially interested in “You Don’t Know Me” “Beat Me Up”, “Robot Love” and “D Is For Dangerous”.
It definitely feels like were going to be getting some harder rock from Allie. I can’t wait for this album!
Oh and the 11th track isn’t called “One One Else” it’s actually “No One Else”. Must have been a typo.

Allison never dissapoints me. This is a very interesting track list that has me wishing to hear the words. Her Album and single cover art are perfect for her. Friday I’ll Be Over U took a few plays to grab me but it hasn’t let go since. I’m streaming it over and over on the web. Two days before I can buy it on iTunes.
Not sure why people compare her. Her secret is in her delivery and her voice. She is refreshingly unique IMHO. I expect a lot of different sounding songs on her album with great connected performances.
