Paul McCartney Good Evening Europe Tour Dates 2009

Here are the Paul McCartney Good Evening Europe tour dates 2009 which the music legend announced via his Web site on Oct. 22. The forthcoming 7-city itinerary covers several cities including in the U.K. and Ireland, and will additionally mark his first performance at London O2 Arena for a special Christmas concert marking the end of the tour.

The Telegraph quotes him as saying:

“This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began. Starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between. I’m very much looking forward to ending the year on a high.”

Additionally, as PopEater notes, the legendary former Beatle will release a live album entitled ‘Good Evening New York City.’ from his summer 2009 U.S. tour. This included the landmark concert at CitiField which replaced Shea Stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York, which was the setting of the 1966 concert of the Beatles as part of their last.
